GraniteDS, the open source Flex/Java integration solution for developing innovative RIA applications

Paris, June 30, 2010 – GraniteDS has released version 2.1 of its open source development solution. GraniteDS enables developers to create, deploy, configure, and run RIA applications using Adobe Flex technology in a familiar JavaEE environment. The project has gradually become the main open source alternative to Adobe's server integration solutions. Adequate Systems was awarded "innovative new company" status by the French Ministry of Research and has obtained funding from Oséo for its innovative project.

On June 8, 2010, the core GraniteDS team (Franck WOLFF & William DRAI) gave a presentation of some new features of the upcoming Granite Data Services 2.2 release, such as a new reflexion API, BigDecimal/BigInteger support and a JSR-303 like validation framework (all on Flex side).
